AQFF Opening & Enzo
Adelaide
From $30.00
Event
Join Feast Festival and Adelaide Queer Film Festival (AQFF) curators Dr Stuart Richards and Dr Jess Pacella to kick off the AQFF in style. Enjoy a drink on arrival, then hear from the curators as they share insights into this year's program before the South Australian premiere of Enzo – the latest from 120 BPM director Robin Campillo.
Enzo follows a privileged teen (Eloy Pohu) who trades school for construction work and falls hard for his Ukrainian co-worker Vlad (Maksym Slivinskyi). It's a tender, slow-burn romance pulsing with desire, set against the tension of looming conflict. Think Call Me by Your Name, but with more cement dust and political weight.
After the credits roll, stick around for live music at the bar and keep the party going.
