The Armenian Film Festival Australia arrives in Adelaide for the first time!

The Armenian Film Festival Australia (AFFA) is expanding to Adelaide for the very first time, celebrating its 9th edition with a special two-day program at Palace Nova Eastend Cinemas.
Following the success of its Sydney and Melbourne seasons, the festival brings two audience favourites from the 2025 lineup — The Reverse Side of the Medal, winner of Best Feature – Narrative, and the feel-good comedy Master of Destiny, both of which enjoyed sold-out sessions earlier this year.
"We're thrilled to finally bring AFFA to Adelaide" said co-founders Hourie Demirjian and Margaret Chater. "This expansion has been years in the making, and we can't wait to share these incredible Armenian stories with South Australian audiences."
Now in its ninth year, AFFA continues to celebrate Armenian cinema and culture, connecting audiences across Australia through film, storytelling and community.
