Have you ever wanted to learn sign language? At Hutt St Library we are pleased to offer Basic Auslan Workshops facilitated by the Deaf Butterfly Effect FREE for community members this January.
This 2.5 hour workshop is perfect for beginners and will give you an introduction to Auslan (Australian sign language).
Learning Auslan is more than just a new skill, it opens up opportunities to communicate with the deaf community, fosters mutual understanding and respect and promotes awareness and understanding of diversity.
