Join the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra for a weekend of music curated by Chief Conductor, Mark Wigglesworth.

Celebrating Vienna as the extraordinary birthplace of orchestral music as we know it, we hear Mozart’s first and last thoughts, Beethoven’s dramatic arrival onto the stage, and Schubert’s ‘Great’ C major Symphony, a work that sums up the Viennese classical tradition while simultaneously knocking on the door of the romanticism that took its place.

The concerts showcase some of the exceptional principal players of the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra as well as an exciting new generation of musicians emerging from the Elder Conservatorium of Music.
