One of Adelaide's most loved community Christmas events, Carols at Kingswood Oval, is now in its 28th year. This free family celebration brings thousands together for a night of festive spirit, live entertainment and community connection. With a crowd of more than 5,000 and performances from local schools, choirs and entertainers, it's the perfect way to kick off the Christmas season in the City of Mitcham.

The night will be compered by MC Libby Trainor and will feature performances by Mitcham City Brass, Boomstars, The Barton Singers and the Clapham Primary School Choir.

Arrive from 5pm to grab a spot, browse Christmas market stalls, and enjoy a range of children's activities, a silent disco, face painting, craft activities and roving entertainment. From 6pm, enjoy circus extravaganza the Just Jesse Danger Show, followed by a special Christmas performance by Mitcham City Brass from 6:30pm, a Welcome to Country at 7pm ahead of singers and performers, finishing at 9pm with a visit from Father Christmas.

Bring a rug or chairs and enjoy a BYO picnic or purchase dinner from a variety of food and drink vans. Performances will be shown on a large LED screen ensuring wherever you are seated on the oval you will be able to enjoy the show.

Residents are encouraged to walk, bus or cycle to the event.
