On 26th January, Anna Stegmann (recorders) and Jorge Jimenez (vielle and violin) return for Adelaide Baroque’s eclectic first concert of the year. The program interweaves arrangements of Bach’s intricate Inventions, Chick Corea’s playful Children’s Songs, circular medieval songs, and the musicians’ own improvisations. Each set reflects universal themes of connection and transformation, mirroring the cyclical nature of the zodiac itself.

This unusual pairing blends the rich, expressive depth of the violin with the recorder's colourful, resonant timbre, creating a captivating musical experience.
