South Australians are warmly invited to begin 26 January with reflection, connection and respect at the Mourning in the Morning Smoking Ceremony, honouring Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures and stories.
Curated and led by First Nations community leaders, this inclusive ceremony focuses on Our Continuing Story.
Join us from 7.30 am at Elder Park/Tarntanya Wama on the River Torrens for a Welcome to Kaurna Country, a powerful Smoking Ceremony with Elder Uncle Moogy Sumner, followed by First Nations speakers featuring contemporary music and dance.
