What to expect:

Drawing on improvisation and her unique way of exploring sound and movement as a Deaf artist, Chisato Minamimura will lead participants through an exploration to focus and use their senses to create movements that are unique to them. The group will also investigate the importance of personal space and relationships with others, using patterns and geometric shapes.

Chisato speaks in British Sign Language and will be accompanied by two interpreters.

Experience level:

All ages and all people who are comfortable with movement, as the workshop will involve a lot of moving around. Wear relaxed clothing and be prepared to move barefoot.
<p>Welcomes and assists people who have challenges with learning, communication, understanding and behaviour. (includes people with autism, intellectual disability, Down syndrome, acquired brain injury (ABI), dyslexia and dementia)</p><p>Caters for people who are blind or have vision loss.</p><p>Caters for people with sufficient mobility to climb a few steps but who would benefit from fixtures to aid balance. (This includes people using walking frames and mobility aids)</p><p>Caters for people who use a wheelchair.</p><p>An access and inclusion statement is available (make this available on your website).</p>
