Nepal Festival is biannual signature event organised by Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) in every state of Australia.
NRNA Australia is a not-for-profit organisation that represents Nepali people living in Australia. It aims to promote Nepalese culture, and heritage and foster goodwill between Australia and Nepal.
The Nepalese community is one of the newest emerging culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities in Australia.
The population of the Nepalese community is increasing rapidly every year as more students and migrants make Australia their home.
There are currently over 200,000 people of Nepalese origin living in Australia.
The main objectives of Nepal Festival Adelaide 2025 are to showcase Nepal, Nepali culture and its rich heritage, help to preserve Nepali culture amongst Nepali Communities in South Australia, and bring the Nepali communities together as well as directly or indirectly promote internal/external tourism.
