Harmful algal blooms are becoming an increasing concern in South Australian waters. These toxic growths of algae can devastate marine life, damage ecosystems, and threaten public health. Join and learn from expert speakers who will explore what drives these blooms, their impacts on fish populations and local industries, and what can be done to protect both our environment and community.

Science in the Pub are pleased to announce their panellists:
Erin Barrera (PhD Candidate, Adelaide Exposure Science and Health, University of Adelaide)
Prof. Justin Brookes (School of Biological Sciences, University of Adelaide)
Brad Martin (SA Project Manager, OzFish)

Please them on Friday 29th August at the Adelaide Irish Club The event kicks off at 6:00 pm and will finish by approximately 7:30 pm. Doors will open at 5:30 pm. All drinks are to be purchased at the bar but guests are welcome to bring their own snacks/food. Attendance is free, but kindly request that you register. It is recommend arriving early to secure your preferred seating.
