The Music Man
Adelaide
From $32.00
Set in 1912, The Music Man tells the story of fast-talking travelling salesman, Harold Hill, as he cons the people of River City, Iowa, into buying instruments and uniforms for a kids' band that he vows to organise - despite the fact that he doesn't know a trombone from a treble clef! However, Harold's plans to skip town with the cash are foiled when he unexpectedly falls in love with Marian Paroo, the no-nonsense town librarian, who is one of the few to suspect Harold is not all who he seems ...
Featuring iconic songs such as "Seventy-Six Trombones" "Ya Got Trouble" and "Till There Was You" (a song that The Beatles later made famous), The Music Man is a beautiful tale of love, laughter and redemption that will sweep you away to the Golden Age of Broadway.
Proudly presented by Marie Clark Musical Theatre as part of its 50th Anniversary Season.
