Event
This year at the National Railway Museum, they are remembering the Tea & Sugar train. This train was vital for the people who lived in railway towns along the Nullarbor. It delivered meat, groceries, clothing and other provisions once per week.
The event includes a display on the history of the Tea & Sugar train, carriages open for inspection, and the chance to talk to one of the railway men who used to work on the train! Join them in celebrating this important part of Australia's railway history.
