Yakitori Takumi, a yakitori specialty shop in South Australia since 2004.
Yakitori direct translation means, BBQ Chicken. Chicken pieces skewer on bamboo skewers and grilled. Different cut of chicken portions, beef, pork, seafoods and vegetables are all prepared in yakitori style.
They are simply place serving simple food - nothing pretentious, no egos here. Just simple people, and simple ingredients - doing their best to bring people together after work.
Yakitori Takumi aims to share the Izakaya dining culture with the locals and create a home away from home for the Japanese expats. No sushi, No Teppanyaki, No Ramen, they do how it supposed to be, just like in Japan, yakitori - ya. Tapas, Japanese style.
They also carry a good range of Japanese beers, Sake, Whisky and Plum Wines
