Guided walk through King Rodney Park / Ityamai-itpina (Park 15)
Adelaide
A Guided stroll through an arguably under-appreciated and sometimes overlooked part of the eastern Adelaide Park Lands.
In pre-COVID times, this Park was the pivotal centrepiece in three massively popular annual sporting events (the Tour Down Under; the equestrian 3-day event, the former supercar racing.)
It's home to an ancient olive grove, the ephemeral Botanic Creek, school sporting fields, a children's playground, a pepper tree boulevard, and much more. Find out about "King Rodney" the man after whom this Park was named. Wear sturdy shoes for a walk of about 1.6km.
Approximately 1.5 hours duration. Meet at the corner of East Tce and Bartels Rd. (southern side of Bartels Rd) Children and dogs most welcome
