Morning pick up at selected Adelaide Hotels. The Barossa has a rich heritage of grape growing and winemaking, dating back to 1842. The region is home to over 160 wineries and with over 80 cellar doors. Take in the amazing view of the valley from Mengler Hill Lookout for its vineyards, hills and farms. Visit the multi-award winning Jacob’s Creek Visitor Centre and sample some of the quality premium wines. After this, we drive through the picturesque Adelaide Hill and into Hahndorf - Australia’s oldest German settlement and we have chance to take the traditional German food and German beer at your own cost ($35.00/person for group meal). After lunch, we explore the tree-lined main street of historic Hahndorf - home to many shops and galleries full of local arts, craft, local produce and wines from boutique cellar doors. Tour finishes by drop off at your hotel/or airport.
