The SA Maritime Museum preserves, explores and celebrates the human history of South Australian oceans and rivers. The Museum, in the historic precinct of Port Adelaide, is within a short walking distance of the National Railway Museum and SA Aviation Museum on Lipson Street and a short drive to the Clipper Ship City of Adelaide on Dock 2.

Take a cruise along the Port River on the South Australian Maritime Museum’s historic vessel, the Archie Badenoch!

The Port River Cruise will take approximately 1 hour with stops along the way at many of the historical areas and points of interest along the Port River. You may even spot some Dolphins!

Sundays at 11am and 12:30pm.

About the Archie:
Built in 1942 at GMH for the Royal Australian Navy, Archie Badenoch served as a supply vessel during WWII. From 1946 to 1978 the vessel was operated by the South Australian Police as the number 1 Water Police Launch.
