Did you know we can fly you across Australia’s only Dark Sky Reserve?

The River Murray International Dark Sky Reserve is one of only 200 accredited Dark Sky places in the world, and while we don’t fly at night, the daytime view from the air offers a breathtaking perspective.

Departing from Lyndoch, we fly over the northern Barossa, showcasing historic dry stone walls, and then across vast plains to the Murray River. The journey continues to the Swan Reach Hotel, where you can see remnants of the original 1865 homestead. Enjoy lunch and quench your thirst before continuing on along the river.

Explore Big Bend’s towering cliffs, rich with ocean fossils, and follow the Murray to the Marne River. See Shell Hill’s ancient oyster shell deposits and the historic reservoirs that supply over 85,000 customers. Back to the southern Barossa over the Warren, South Para and Barossa Reservoirs, featuring the magnificent Whispering Wall.

The flight ends in the Hoffnungsthal Valley, once settled by Germans in 1847 but later abandoned due to flooding. This land, now part of the Kies Family estate, has been home for six generations.

Welcome to our backyard!
