The Eudunda Silo Art is a must-visit attraction that beautifully celebrates the heart and heritage of this charming town. Completed in 2021 by talented artist Sam Brooks, the stunning 30-metre-tall silos showcase Eudunda’s creativity and community spirit, leaving visitors in awe.
Known as ‘Eudunda: The Storytime Silos’, the artwork brings to life Colin Thiele’s beloved novel, The Sun on the Stubble. Thiele, a renowned author born and raised in Eudunda, tells a heartwarming tale of two children exploring their culture and past through stories. This playful and nostalgic theme is paired with a powerful Ngadjuri storybook, created in collaboration with Ngadjuri Elder Quentin Aeguis, honouring the rich traditions, culture, and people of the region.
Convenient off-street parking is available on Railway Parade, with a short stroll leading you to this inspiring and unforgettable sight. Whether you're drawn to the art, the stories, or the vibrant history of the area, the Eudunda Silo Art is an experience you won’t want to miss.
