Unique Organic Winery and Farm Tour in McLaren Vale. Established in 1998 with plantings for Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz, Whitefeather Red’s organically grown wines have picked up a swag of acclaimed awards. Vine whisperer and alpaca wrangler John “Moondog” Saunders lovingly hand built the winery and introduced several innovative approaches to growing wine whilst also raising a gaggle of geese, turkeys, duck, white doves, and furry friends to create one of the regions’ most beautiful and rustic vineyards.

Come and enjoy a winery tour where you can get up close and feed the animals during private tours. Learn about some of John Saunders’ wine growing secrets, how to master the art of worm farming, and what goes into creating delectable, organic wines.
