Born out of a long-held desire to bring silliness, laughter and a family event to the Fleurieu, the Mad Dash Billy Cart Race is sure to do all these things.
Aiming to become a Biannual fixture in the South Australian calendar, in November. A day-long extravaganza of colour, costume, carts and craziness, it looks set to be the most talked-about SA event!
Running down the whole of Willunga high street, it will be a high visibility event. Not just for the many spectators and competitors.
Cart loads of fun
Not your average billy cart race, the Mad Dash is all about the silliness, creativity & fun and less about speed & finish times.
Participants will be scored on their team costume and theme, cart design, and of course, their final decent time.
