Arkaba

Flinders Ranges and Outback

From $1,995.00
Arkaba Conservancy is an ancient landscape: a 63,000-acre privately-owned and carefully protected wildlife conservancy nestled in South Australia's Flinders Ranges and Outback.

This 500 million-year-old range country is the epitome of getting away from it all. A place where sandstone bluffs mingle with ancient creek beds, graced with millennia-old River Red Gums watching your every move.

Up to just ten guests share the restored five-room 1850's Arkaba Homestead, with twice-daily safaris with passionate field guides and mobs of kangaroos, emus, and other free-roaming wildlife.

For the more active, Arkaba offers some of the best walkings in the country.

For the soft adventurers, an open-top bush drive or aerial safari by helicopter reveals ancient vistas capped off with sundowner drinks on top of the ranges with the scale and grandeur of outback Australia laid out for miles around.

A good drop of South Australian wine and thoughtfully prepared local, seasonal produce come together to celebrate your safari days and breathe in the endless starry nights.
