The Cradock Hotel in Cradock, South Australia sits on the edge of the Ikara Flinders Ranges and has welcomed travellers since 1881. Built during the early days of pastoral settlement, the historic hotel blends its original country character with modern comforts. Today it remains a family run destination known for warm, genuine hospitality, relaxed surroundings and the timeless atmosphere of an outback pub where visitors can slow down, share a meal and experience regional life at its most authentic.
Positioned along RM Williams Way, Cradock is the first township within the Flinders Ranges Council region and an ideal gateway into the spectacular landscapes of the ranges. The hotel offers hearty outback style meals, cold drinks and a welcoming place for travellers exploring the region. Six onsite accommodation rooms provide a variety of options from double to family rooms, offering ten beds with capacity to sleep up to sixteen guests, making it a comfortable base for couples, families and small groups.
The much loved "Buy a Beer, Camp Free" tradition welcomes travellers with caravans, campervans and swags, providing a relaxed unpowered camping area surrounding the hotel. Campers have access to a dedicated amenities block with 24hour toilets and coin operated showers. A fenced playground offers space for children to play while adults unwind and take in the quiet charm of this historic outback stop.
