Open Doors Festival

Flinders Ranges and Outback

ATDW pixel
For 5 weeks from the 26th September to the 27th October - Peterborough will be transformed into an innovative, inspirational and engaging arts hub!

The large scale outdoor exhibition, where old doors are transformed into captivating works of art, displayed both outdoors and indoors throughout the town's public spaces, including the town square, parks, main street, empty shop windows, and inside businesses.

The second component of the festival is an extensive workshop program, led by local artists, spanning multiple art forms, from traditional mediums like painting and printmaking to more unconventional practices such as blacksmithing, chocolate making and photography. These workshops are designed to engage participants in hands-on experiences, encouraging exploration of different art forms, techniques and expressions.

Together we can 'open the door' to people's perspectives on what art is.
