The Southern Flinders Discovery Centre offers free tourist information for local and South Australia regions, free computer access, and free access to Gladstone's history records.

Visitors will also find souvenirs, home-baked biscuits, produce and crafts for sale.

The Discovery Centre is also bus friendly with a step-on guide town tour and soft drink tastings. They welcome groups (not only on a bus) - all run by friendly volunteers...ready for a chat!

Guided walking tours can also be arranged to hear the stories behind the many sand stone buildings & other points of interest, including a water fountain in the main street.

Some recommended activities are:
Underground railways subway equipped with mural art for visitors to enjoy
The RSL Memorial water fountain on Main Street
A restored canon from WWI, plus other WWI memorabilia
The children's playground on Main Street
The Tressylva Park walking trail to birdwatch or enjoy a family BBQ
<p>Broadband Internet Access</p> <p>Caters for people with sufficient mobility to climb a few steps but who would benefit from fixtures to aid balance. (This includes people using walking frames and mobility aids)</p><p>Caters for people who use a wheelchair.</p><p>Caters for people who are deaf or have hearing loss.</p><p>Welcomes and assists people who have challenges with learning, communication, understanding and behaviour. (includes people with autism, intellectual disability, Down syndrome, acquired brain injury (ABI), dyslexia and dementia)</p>
