42 Mile Crossing Coorong National Park
Murray River Lakes and Coorong
From $18.50
So named because of its distance from Kingston South East, the 42 Mile Crossing is the best all-weather, all-year round four-wheel-drive vehicle access to the ocean beach in the Coorong National Park.
It is also the closest point for two wheel drive vehicles to access the beach. The three kilometre drive from the Princes Highway to the camping and information area is accessible to all vehicles with plenty of room for caravans. A further 1.3 kilometres by four-wheel-drive vehicle or walk through the sand dunes takes you to a great view of the Southern Ocean.
