Karl Raams is a local artist and arts therapist, known for their ability to connect and inspire the local communtiy though the arts.

In this workshop, participants will discover the hidden joys of process painting as Karl instructs them in technique, whilst discussing the benefits of the arts for personal wellbeing.

As a result of this workshop, the artworks created by participants will be displayed in the inaugural launch of the Loxton Pocket Galleries, in celebration of Mental Health Month. Artworks will be on display from October - January throughout the Loxton District whilst promoting awareness for mental health.

Cost: Free, all materials provided!
Ages: All welcome, guardian participation required for children under 12

This event is a collaboration between The District Council of Loxton Waikerie, Pocket Galleries and Phoenix Arts and Mind
<p>Free Wifi</p> <p>Welcomes and assists people who have challenges with learning, communication, understanding and behaviour. (includes people with autism, intellectual disability, Down syndrome, acquired brain injury (ABI), dyslexia and dementia)</p><p>Caters for people who are blind or have vision loss.</p><p>Caters for people who are deaf or have hearing loss.</p><p>Caters for people with sufficient mobility to climb a few steps but who would benefit from fixtures to aid balance. (This includes people using walking frames and mobility aids)</p><p>Caters for people who use a wheelchair.</p><p>Caters for people with allergies and intolerances.</p>
