Little Town Christmas Productions have been enjoyed by thousands of people and become an integral part, and a highlight, of the Riverland's Christmas festivities since 1999. Over the years, people have flocked to St Peter's, knowing they will both laugh and be moved to tears as they become involved in the greatest story of all time.
The 2025 production, Little Town JR: Nativity 1.0, is a 45-minute musical reimagining the nativity story through the eyes of the characters in the Gospels. The characters are brought to life in the original script and songs written by local playwright John Gladigau and musician Karyn Skewes. The cast comprises of children aged 8-18 from all over the Riverland.
Performances: 6pm and 8pm, December 19, 20 and 21.
Running concurrently with the performance is a new Little Town experience called Journey to Bethlehem. A family experience where children and families will be immersed in the Bethlehem experience stamping a passport as they complete each activity on their journey through the story.
Time: 5:00pm to 9:00pm, December 19, 20 and 21.
Cost: Free with the purchase of a Little Town Jr ticket. Or AUD5 per child (free entry for adults with children)
Food and Drink: Available for purchasing separately from food vans and stalls

<p>Caters for people with sufficient mobility to climb a few steps but who would benefit from fixtures to aid balance. (This includes people using walking frames and mobility aids)</p><p>Caters for people who use a wheelchair.</p>
