Riverland Rose and Garden Festival
Riverland
Free
The Riverland Rose and Garden Festival, established in 1994, draws people together over stunning roses as well as provides opportunities to experience some of the best gardens, food and wine, and river recreation that the town and region has to offer.
The festival has grown significantly over its 30-year history and now enjoys strong local, state and national popularity.
The festival runs for ten days with over 40 events taking place in all the major towns in the Riverland District of South Australia. Events include Open Gardens in all districts (Renmark, Paringa, Berri Barmera, Monash, Glossop, Waikerie, Winke, Ramco, Bugle Hut and Stuart).
Events also include the Remark Far and Market, Waikerie Flower Show, Calperum Dinner, Gala Dinner, Gardening Seminars and the perennial Renmark Floral Display, with the 2023 theme being Riverland Rocks On. Communities along the River Murray were devastated by flood waters late last year. The Riverland people have once again shown their resilience to this disaster and are bouncing back.
The 2023 Festival will be opened at the Festival Fair to be held on Saturday 21 October at the Jarrett Memorial Gardens, Renmark, by President Michelle Dominic.
