Renmark Houseboats offer a holiday with a difference. Whether you want a romantic getaway, or a large family holiday, why not discover the wonders of the Murray River and try a few days or a week or more with Renmark Houseboats.
Operating just north of the township of Renmark (the home of houseboating), you’ll have the chance to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the river above Renmark to the NSW border (approx. 120 km of river).
Wildlife abounds in this area and many birds can be seen daily. The scenery changes constantly with cliffs intermingled with river red gum box trees. Koalas, emus and Kangaroos are a common sight with the odd Goanna sometimes seen towards dusk.
Try your hand at a spot of fishing (lures around fallen trees can sometimes produce good size Golden Perch). Awaken to the majestic sounds of the Murray River and enjoy the magnificent sunsets and the brightness of the stars at night.
The friendly staff at Renmark Houseboats provide guided instructions on piloting and mooring the boat. All you need is a current full driver licence and be over 18 years of age.
