Daly Head Bush Campground is located approximately 48km from Warooka, via White Hut Road, Marion Bay Road and Daly Head Road. Daly Head Road is unsealed and can be corrugated.

The corner from Daly Head into the Campground is sharp, so big rig caravans are advised to either take corner wide or to head down to the Surfing Reserve Carpark first, to turn around. However, once in the campground, the sites are generous and you’ll be rewarded by a magnificent view of the aqua water and white sand of Blue Bay.

Daly Head Campground is the perfect spot to set up as a base for surfing, fishing, swimming and beach walking. However, there are rips in the area, so beginners should stay in shallow water and the experienced should still stay aware.

A toilet is provided, but self-sufficient camping is encouraged. The closest bin bank is in the neighbouring campground ‘Gleesons Landing’. For petrol, basic supplies or a trip to the Tavern, head to Marion Bay, the closest town – or stock up at Warooka, on your way through.

Warooka has many facilities, including: a supermarket, pharmacy, butcher, hotel, petrol station, Visitor Information Outlet and more.
