Lanterns & Fire – The Story of Widhadha.
A powerful coastal performance weaving light, fire, movement, and culture.
Experience the unforgettable finale of GROUNDED Arts Festival with Lanterns & Fire – The Story of Widhadha — a large-scale outdoor performance inspired by Narungga cultural stories.
As twilight descends, we gather on the shores of Marion Bay. A glowing procession of community-made lanterns lights up the coastline, leading into a rich, immersive storytelling experience brought to life through fire, light, and sound.

Developed in collaboration with the Narungga community, local artists, school students from across the Yorke Peninsula, and community members, The Story of Widhadha is a heartfelt celebration of connection — to Country, culture, and one another
An immersive cultural and sensory journey not to be missed.
