Adelaide Hills Getaway is located on Macclesfield's heritage-listed main street, 45 minutes from Adelaide CBD and 13 minutes from Mt Barker. It is close to two historic pubs, Longview Winery, Macclesfield Cafe/General Store, History Walk, parklands including Davenport Square, and Crystal Lake sculpture park.

The complex consists of four self-contained units which include:
Three two-bedroom units (each sleeps four) , and the Gum Tree Lodge (options for two to five bedrooms, sleeps six-11 persons in queen and single beds), and conference/ function room.

The whole complex sleeps up to 23 guests. It is available for exclusive use or as separate self contained apartments for single, couple or group stays. Stay longer and save. There is also a compliant ramp for inclusive access to the property.

Macclesfield is in Battunga- Country on the 'Angas River Scenic Drive', the 'Epicurean Way', 'Hills Sculpture Trail', the 'Sculpture Scenic Drive' and the 'Kidman Trail' with walking, cycling, horse riding links to the 'Heysen Trail'.

Battunga-Country is a hive of activity for arts, crafts and music in galleries, vineyards, halls, parks and pubs. It is a popular wedding destination.

Visit Kuitpo Forest, Jupiter Creek former gold diggings, Prospect Hill museum, Crystal Lake Sculpture Park, ANZAC Memorial Garden, wineries of the Adelaide Hills, McLaren Vale, Langhorne Creek, and Currency Creek.
