This is an intimate presentation tasting the full range of Ten Miles East wines in concert with food dishes specifically created to highlight each wine.
Wine and food pairing is an art and can be a sublime experience. From one vintage to the next a wine is the ultimate expression of the vintage conditions, the vineyard site and viticulture alongside winemaking all coming together to represent its distinctly individual characteristics.
The Ten Miles East degustation experience explores these layers of flavours, textures, and complexities in order to challenge the limitations of the often held, one dimensional approach around wine with food.
The menu has been developed by acclaimed chef Mark McNamara and wine authority Chris Eerden, long-term advocates within both the wine industry and the hospitality industry, with a view to offering the best representation of food matched to wine. In this setting, their combined vast experience and extensive knowledge provides a rare opportunity for patrons to appreciate a truly enlightening tasting experience.
