Join SAHMRI for a luncheon where elite sport meets elite science, presented as part of the AFL Gather Round Festival of Footy.

From neurology to nutrition and injury prevention to peak performance, we've assembled remarkable researchers who are making discoveries that not only enhance sporting performance but boost health and wellbeing in communities everywhere.

Hosted by journalist, news and radio presenter Rebecca Morse, you will hear from:
Senior Kaurna Man, Uncle Mickey Kumatpi O'Brien
Dr Dominique Condo on elite sport nutrition
A/Professor Adrian Elliott on cardiovascular health and performance
A/Professor Kim Morey and A/Professor Rachel Reilly on racism in sport and the impacts on health and participation
Dr Ryan Quarrington and Hugh McCloskey on concussion and brain health

Guests will enjoy a shared-plate luncheon by OzHarvest, accompanied by Chalk Hill Wines. In the spirit of AFL Gather Round, guests are encouraged to wear their team colours and celebrate the festival of footy.

With attendance limited to just 120 guests, places are expected to fill quickly.
