The futuristic beats of Bill Sellanga, AKA Blinky Bill, have been pushing the envelope of African music for nearly 20 years. As a member of the groundbreaking electronic music and arts collective, Just a Band, he has left an indelible mark on the global music scene. And as a solo artist, his music transcends borders with its experimental combination of African influences with hip hop, jazz and funk. Blinky Bill has released two albums, the thrilling We Cut Keys While You Wait and the soulfully dynamic Everyone's Just Winging It and Other Fly Tales. His collaborative spirit has seen him work with musical luminaries such as Nneka, Goldlink, Sampa the Great, Childish Gambino and Chance the Rapper. His unmatched stage presence has graced iconic venues worldwide.
