These school holidays, Carclew transforms into a buzzing hub of imagination, laughter and live performance! Young, aspiring theatre-makers aged 10 - 17 years are invited to dive into a two-week creative adventure led by some of Adelaide's most exciting theatre artists.
Across two jam-packed weeks, starting in December, students will collaborate and partner with three incredible professional artists to explore:
Improvisation
Physical comedy & farce
Puppetry & shadow play
Theatre devising & storytelling
In January, participants will reunite to craft their own original performances, infused with sound design and composition. They'll continue working with the three lead artists, and two professional sound artists, to explore innovative ways to elevate their work.
The Grand Finale - Carclew Summer Theatre Festival
Friday 16 January, Carclew will come alive with performances popping up in every nook and cranny - indoors and outside! Friends and family can wander through the grounds catching timed shows in different spaces, in a celebration of creativity, collaboration, and the amazing work the young people have created.
