Where Flavour, Light, and Culture Meet
Returning to Rundle Mall in 2026, Colours of Asia invites the city to gather once again through food, culture, and human connection — inspired by the warmth and success of its inaugural year.
Wander through a thoughtfully curated selection of street food vendors from Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, and Queensland, each offering flavours shaped by memory, migration, and tradition. From gently spiced curries to the sizzle of open grills, every dish carries a story, inviting you to pause, taste, and listen.
As day turns to evening, Rundle Mall shifts to a new rhythm. Lanterns glow overhead, Balinese huts create welcoming spaces, and the area transforms into a vibrant marketplace where colour, craft, and conversation come together. The air fills with aroma and anticipation, drawing people into shared moments over food.
Performing arts flow throughout the festival from day into night, featuring traditional dances, music, and expressive movement that honour heritage while inviting celebration. On evenings, handcrafted cultural pieces will also be available for guests to take home as a small piece of the experience.
Colours of Asia is an invitation to wander at your own pace, savour deeply, and gather in a space where cultures meet as a shared story.
With free entry and a central city location, the festival is welcoming for families and visitors of all ages.
