Exhibition by Deb McKay - 'My mother's house by the beach'

Art Images Gallery is pleased to be exhibiting a major exhibition of new work by Adelaide ceramic artist and winner of this year's Waterhouse Natural Science Art Prize - Deb McKay.

This exhibition presents Deb's delicately crafted, hand-built porcelain ceramic sculptures, reflecting on endurance, memory, and the idea of home as something shaped over time.

Drawing on years spent returning to her mother's beachside home in South Australia, the work traces cycles of departure and return now echoed by her own children. Layers of shared memory are held within the house, garden, beach walks, and rock pools, with colours drawn from the sea, sky, land, and the slow rhythm of time.
