In this vibrant contemporary dance and music work led by producer and activist Airileke, two of the world's oldest living cultures meet through music, dance and story. Meganesia is a high-energy live performance experience that bridges Papua New Guinea (PNG) and Indigenous Australia in a powerful meeting of islands, songlines and ancient rhythms. This lineup features Yolŋu soul powerhouse Yirrmal, neo-soul sensation KAIIT, vocalist Deline Briscoe, PNG songstress Mereani Masani, and PNG global hitmaker Justin Wellington. A visually stunning and sonically explosive work, Meganesia celebrates the shared cultural continuum between PNG and Australia of honouring ancestors and the ancient practice of storytelling through dance traditions and songlines.
