For one night only, Melbourne gin cocktail institution 'Gin Palace' is setting sail for Adelaide.
Gin Palace has long been regarded as one of Australia's great cocktail bars — famous for oversized martinis, impeccable G&Ts, late-night hospitality and a kind of old-world Melbourne glamour that's become increasingly rare.
Now, for one night only, the Gin Palace crew takes over Hains & Co with giant 90mL martinis, dangerously elegant G&Ts, cult cocktails and the famous Gin Palace Chicken Sandwich — served with a rack of bacon salt and Tabasco on the side.
The evening will feature two exclusive cocktails created just for the voyage:
Lil' Duke — dark, bitter and dressed with coffee foam
Pocha Dynamite — a filthy little highball of Oyster Shell Gin, kimchi, K-BBQ sauce and pilsner
