Describing their signature sound as roots and funk-driven delta trance, MY BABY's music is grounded in the raw, organic sounds of blues and funk, melded with the deep, reverberating basslines of New Zealand dub and the kinetic energy of Amsterdam's EDM scene. The band is made up of Dutch siblings Cato van Dijck on vocals, bass and guitar and Joost van Dijck on drums, along with NZ-born guitarist Daniel 'DaFreez' Johnston. With their dynamic and danceable live shows, MY BABY have been spreading their delta-trance rave to the approval of audiences worldwide since 2012. They have released five studio albums and performed at renowned festivals such as Glastonbury and Isle of Wight in the UK, Fusion in Denmark and Lowlands in The Netherlands. Despite modern influences, the band stays true to its analogue roots, crafting a sound that feels both primal and futuristic, merging the past and present in a unique, earthy dance music experience.
