The City of Holdfast Bay have prepared a vibrant, inclusive, and sustainable New Year's Eve event that embodies the spirit of community, innovation, and economic prosperity.
Each year, tens of thousands of people from across the state and beyond converge on Glenelg and Brighton to celebrate the New Year and to watch the amazing fireworks displays.
NYE celebrations bring in the New Year with a – family friendly, alcohol free night of music and fireworks.
Jetty Road Glenelg and Jetty Road Brighton serve as the events gateway, festive promenades with local businesses presenting targeted offerings, stimulating local economic activity.
The fireworks displays are by Howard & Sons Pyrotechnics, providing a beachy, festive vibe – warm air and the anticipation of a year to come. Kids in the playground…teens kissing...Family & friends huddle together to stare at the night sky anticipating the mesmerizing spectacle of fireworks with a concert soundtrack - Joy and awe.
Family fireworks synchronised to music at 9:30pm at Glenelg and Brighton Beaches, with fireworks at midnight at Glenelg only.
