Next Occurrence : 14 Dec 2018
Unsound Adelaide, the immersive weekend festival devoted to thought provoking music and art, has announced its first lineup of live music and sound installations in the Queen’s Theatre, Adelaide from December 14-16, 2018.
The adventurously curated multidisciplinary festival that’s been described as “one of the great festivals in the world” (The Quietus) proffers a heady and heavy lineup, edging into the outer limits of sonic performance with several of the most vital artists of our times.
Unsound is a festival focussed on presenting avant-garde electronic music and art that began in Krakow, Poland in 2003. Now in its 15th year, Unsound has grown to be one of the world’s most adventurous music festivals – with Adelaide being the only Southern Hemisphere event.
Former Adelaide Festival Artistic Director David Sefton, and Artistic Director and co-founder of Unsound Mat Schulz return as Unsound Adelaide Artistic Directors.
The State Government of South Australia through the Music Development Office and the South Australian Tourism Commission is a major partner of Unsound Adelaide.
