Queens Head Hotel
Adelaide
The Queens Head Hotel is the oldest licensed venue in its original location in South Australia. First licensed by Giles Abbott Snr in July of 1838, it has sat proudly on the corner of Kermode Street and Abbott Lane for over 175 years.
The hotel’s façade, unchanged since major renovations in 1881, gives way to a stylish brick and marble interior highlighted by unique light features sourced from outback Australia and Egypt. These features coupled with an award winning kitchen make for a memorable experience, no matter what the occasion. Be it their delicious wood-oven pizzas, or one of their exquisite small or large plates, it comes as no surprise that The Queens Head Hotel was awarded Best Restaurant in a Pub/Club at the 2018 Restaurant Awards for Excellence. A recent addition to the string of industry awards the Queens Head has accrued.
