The Sussex Hotel has been thoughtfully reimagined from the ground up, blending Moroccan-inspired interiors with the timeless character of this heritage landmark. A gathering place on Walkerville Terrace since 1843, Sussex continues its long tradition of hospitality.
Step inside to a light-filled dining space that flows out to the courtyard, alongside a relaxed lounge bar and parlour centred around the main bar. Outdoors, the all-seasons courtyard features a two-way fireplace, firepit nooks and a retractable roof - made for long lunches and easy evenings.
The seasonal menu celebrates seasonal local produce with global inspiration, complemented by a curated selection of South Australian wines, local beers and impresssive list of cocktails. Sussex is also home to the much-loved Pudding Club - a monthly gathering on the last Tuesday of every month dedicated entirely to the joy of decadent desserts.

Open daily, the kitchen serves from 12pm until 8:45pm. Bookings are not essential but always appreciated.
