A 70 seat brunch cafe in the heart of the historic port, The Banksia Tree Cafe and Restaurant is a hidden suburban gem, presenting modern Australian brunch 7 days a week.

Using only local, seasonal and sustainable produce, we only support our local farmers who supply us with sustainable, non-sprayed biodynamic goods.

With 95% of our menu being made from ingredients/suppliers in SA. we feature some the states best gins, beers and biodynamic wines along side pasture raised eggs and award winning bacon, The Banksia Tree kitchen also features a wood fire grill that uses red gum from the Adelaide Hills. This gives our food a unique flavour and helps to create the true Banksia experience.

When food has less miles to travel, it results in fresher produce, less carbon emissions and keeps the profits within our state.

Our coffee is small batch roasted, by Monastery. Fully traceable and above fair trade, Medium roasted for full flavour, preserving the qualities of the berry (coffee) which highlights the work of the farmers, allowing you to truly taste the terroir of the bean.

Our food and coffee waste is composted locally, through the Semaphore Compost Network and we are striving to be 100% zero waste
