Tour

Depart Adelaide, travelling in a comfortable Toyota Landcruiser four-wheel drive vehicle, through the mid-north towns of Clare and Quorn to Hawker in the heart of the Flinders Ranges.

The scenic Bunyeroo Valley and Brachina Gorge provide breathtaking views as we head to Blinman on our way to the Arkaroola Wilderness Sanctuary and some of the oldest landscape on earth.
Leaving Arkaroola, we drive through the Gammon Ranges to Copley, then north to Marree at the junction of the Birdsville and Oodnadatta Tracks.

Passing through one of Australia’s most fascinating and diverse regions, the Oodnadatta Track closely follows a major Aboriginal trade route, the original Overland Telegraph Line and the old Ghan railway line. Visit Blanche Cup and The Bubbler, part of the Great Artesian Basin.

Coober Pedy is the Opal Capital of the World, and the town is our base for a day trip to The Painted Desert. an area of spectacularly coloured land formations featuring mesas, buttes, tent hills and cliffs caused by erosion of an ancient land surface.
The colours come from pyritic sediments deposited in the soil millions of years ago.

You'll take the Stuart Highway to Woomera and return to Adelaide through Port Augusta.
