Drive through the Riverland towns of Blanchetown, Berri, Barmera and Renmark. Cross the Victorian border to Lake Cullulleraine and Mildura, then over the Murray/Darling rivers to Mildura.
Enjoy a full day exploring Mungo National Park. The park is part of the Willandra Lakes World Heritage area, Mungo National Park being at its centre. Explore the park and visit the Mungo Woolshed, the Walls of China, the 'Grand Canyon' and the ruins of Zanci Station.

Return home through Renmark, but this time take a back road to Lake Victoria and Rufus River, passing the state border to Cal Lal and Rotten Lake. Travel the Sturt Highway to Berri, then detour through Loxton to Swan Reach, Walker Flat, Mount Pleasant and Gumeracha to Birdwood.
