Mungo National Park - Five Day Tour

Depart Adelaide travelling in a comfortable Toyota Landcruiser four wheel drive vehicle.

Drive through the Riverland towns of Blanchetown, Berri, Barmera and Renmark. Cross the Victorian border to Lake Cullulleraine and Mildura, then over the Murray/Darling rivers to Wentworth, New South Wales.

Enjoy a full day trip to explore Mungo National Park. The park is part of the Willandra Lakes World Heritage area, Mungo National Park being at its centre. Explore the park and visit the Mungo Woolshed, the Walls of China, the 'Grand Canyon' and the ruins of Zanci Station.

Visit Wentworth attractions including the gaol and junction of the Darling and Murray rivers; unwind with a paddle steamer cruise through Lock 11. Visit the Kulkyne and Hattah National Parks.

Return home through Renmark, but this time take a back road to Lake Victoria and Rufus River, passing the state border to Cal Lal and Rotten Lake. Travel the Sturt Highway to Berri, then detour through Loxton to Swan Reach, Walker Flat, Mount Pleasant and Gumeracha to Birdwood.
