Set in a 100-acre estate in the Adelaide foothills, with spectacular views stretching to the ocean, Carrick Hill is Australia's most intact historic house, lovingly preserved for all to enjoy.
Twice a day, Carrick Hill's friendly and knowledgeable volunteer guides take visitors through the house, sharing the history of the Haywards and their home, as well as the artworks and furnishings.
On the tour, you'll discover paintings from the collection by Dobell, Gaugin and Sickert. There are sculptures by Jacob Epstein of Albert Einstein, Bernard Shaw and Sir Winston Churchill.
You'll explore the unique decor styled around English country living, including exquisite William Morris furnishings.
