Barossa Sculpture Park
Barossa
The Barossa Sculpture Park, situated on Mengler's Hill, features 17 sculptures by international and Australian artists ranging from France, Belgium, USA, Japan and Egypt to the Barossa Valley. The Park overlooks the beautiful Barossa Valley with views stretching to the sea.
The Barossa Sculpture Park was created during the 1st Barossa International Sculpture Symposium in 1988. To mark the 20th anniversary a follow up Symposium was organised in 2008.
Industry Sponsors, Barossa businesses and the community funded both events.
The invited sculptors were guests of the Barossa community and created their sculptures over six weeks. At the close they donated the works to the Barossa community under the auspices of
The Barossa Council.
